• Fitness into Your Schedule

There are times and occasionally complete days when I can relax. The rest of my life is multi-tasking to a high level. It takes considerable concentration to write this on a beach, under an umbrella, with my laptop, cold coconut, light morning breeze, and gentle rhythmic white noise of soft surf.

I will survive, but the fusion of exercise with introspective emotional/mental training or specialized professional sports training is an excellent way to receive health benefits with a small investment of time. When your time is limited and your family is pulled in various directions, fitness is a great time to come together.

If you are in Sydney and, if you have a full schedule and would like to multi-task childcare, child, youth, and teen sports/fitness with your routine, go to https://www.theab.com.au/. You can fit fitness back into your schedule with guided classes in body-fit or marathon-fit cardio courses. Pilates, yoga, and guided meditation classes stretch your emotional, spiritual, and physical movements.

A “strong core” can mean a solid physical mid-section and lasting mobility as we age. It could mean the core of your ethereal balance or your core principles are strong. Regular physical fitness and mental decompression are effective tools in building and maintaining that 3-fold core.

A run club is not my type of preferred group fitness unless it’s a jungle run. There are many international social-runners clubs. I like to meet new people and run through new landscapes and trails. The refreshments afterward are earned. In my youth, I lifted more free weights, now I use the control of mechanical equipment. What is your fit switch?

Dancing, martial arts, gymnastics, and organized sports are great fusions of enjoyment and fitness. Are there any sports or fusion activities you find irritating? Cyclists? It isn’t a wellness trend that I find bothersome. People who assume ownership of all space and video themselves for a TikTok, Snap, or IG in a disturbing and distracting dramatic manner make me consider home-calisthenics.

Monthly fees can be significant or very reasonable depending on the facilities, included services, and how large a network they belong to, or how many active customers they have.

Australia knows the value of regular exercise at all ages. Well.. other than babies, they need chubby cheeks. The Fitness Passport gives you access to 1600 facilities including; pools, gyms, sports fields and courts nationwide.

Get Up & Grow is a program to guide parents and educators in leading the next generations in healthy living. Being active with our children builds wellness and bonds with a lifetime of memories.

The multi-year Intergenerational Health and Mental Health Study will gather and assess data to create a baseline for our national wellness balance. Current statistics show that 56% of us complete less than 30 minutes of strenuous exercise less than five days a week, and only 25% engage in strengthening activities on two days.

What are we evolving into? We can dig in the dirt and sift through rocks to find how we once lived, ate, and hunted. On this potato trajectory of obesity and slothfulness, we are handing ourselves over to be managed. Take control and go for a walk.
